Integral Coaching® Certification Program

This core training program consists of two modules:

Module 1 - Foundation & Apprenticeship (5 months)
Module 2 - Embodiment & Certification (9 months)

The Integral Coaching® Certification Program is the premier offering of Integral Coaching Canada Inc. It is through this program that people become fully certified and licensed to practice Integral Coaching®. It is broken down into two distinct modules. The first module enables students to learn the Integral Coaching® method and two of the Integral lenses for working with clients while developing necessary core coaching competencies. This is truly an apprenticing time as coaches in this first module work one-on-one with a certified Integral Coach™ behind them every step of the way. Some people choose to go straight into the Certification Module and some people practice for a period of time after the Apprenticeship Module before taking the next step. In the second Module, coaches drop deeply into understanding human development, Integral Theory, the full set of Integral lenses comprising a person's AQAL Constellation, and advances the levels of their coaching competencies to engage in complex coaching interventions.

This is the most comprehensive Integral Coaching® training program that you will find and it has been rated as best in class by the Integral Institute. The Integral Coaching® Certification Program is ICF accredited for a total of 202 training hours. Please see Graduate Testimonials for words from our graduates.”

Module 1 - Foundation & Apprenticeship

Course Code: IC-1
Prerequisite: none

Description:
This program is composed of a powerful and rigorous five month foundational curriculum that includes immediate and direct application. In the Foundation & Apprenticeship Module, participants specifically learn the Integral Coaching® method, the theoretical foundations for our approach to human development, Integral lenses to understand their clients, and a coaching process that enables rapid learning so that everything that has been taught can be applied immediately. To support this commitment, a step by step approach to the Integral Coaching® method that is user-friendly and supportive is fully provided, modeled, documented, and developed. While working in the 'coach behind the coach' Apprenticeship Phase of the Module, participants discover the reality of coaching real clients, designing Coaching Programs, conducting and presenting powerful client assessments, providing new perspectives to their clients, and developing sustainable change in them…all the while the coach is fully supported by our faculty.

Personal coaching is also provided in this Module as the Integral Coaching® method is modeled by faculty members. Participants don't just learn about coaching intellectually, they get to experience it and watch it powerfully unfold. This program leaves participants able to practice as apprentice coaches upon successful completion of all facets of the curriculum. The Foundation & Apprenticeship Module is for anyone who wants to learn how to effectively coach or for coaches who want to add a rigorous and effective backbone to an existing successful coaching practice that is calling for renewal and regeneration. For comments from students in our previous programs, please see Graduate Testimonials.

This is an INUKSHUK which is an Inuit stone figure traditionally found in the icy north. It is a Canadian symbol. INUKSHUKS are erected as beacons by the Inuit traveller leaving a marker for those who follow. These large stone figures can be seen from great distances over ice and snow. Northern travellers can pick out a marker on the distant horizon and walk to it before looking out across the vast tundra for the next INUKSHUK to guide them along unfamiliar and ever-changing terrain. The unique configuration of each stone figure is particular to each person who builds it so you will recognize your companions along the way; each formation also provides vital messages of warning or opportunity. Lastly, it is a sign of respect to pay attention, to stop your own journey and to build an INUKSHUK for travellers yet to come.

The people who join the lineage practicing Integral Coaching® are much like these Inuit travellers. They benefit from those who have come before them and have the responsibility to those who are still to come. It is a lineage that includes skilful means, direct action, clear intention, wise compassion, deep respect, and love. Most of all, Love. It is both a sacred duty and a call to serve clients, students, community, consciousness, and other coaches in this lineage. The INUKSHUK symbolizes all of this to us.       Close
